VISITOR VISA SERVICES FOR SENEGAL IN CAPE TOWN

VISITOR VISA SERVICES FOR SENEGAL IN CAPE TOWN

A Senegalese tourist visa is a non-immigrant visa that allows South African nationals residing in Cape Town to temporarily enter the Republic of Senegal for non-work-related purposes. This includes activities such as tourism, holidays, visiting family or friends, and attending social or cultural events. Whether you are planning to explore Senegal’s beautiful landscapes or reunite with loved ones, this visa provides the legal entry required for a temporary stay.

To be eligible, applicants must demonstrate strong ties to South Africa, provide a clear travel itinerary and prove that they have sufficient funds to support their visit without working or relying on public funds. Commonly requested supporting documents include an invitation letter from a host in Senegal, a travel itinerary and proof of employment or family obligations abroad.

Global Apostille’s visitor visa services for Senegal in Cape Town can guide you through the application process, helping you to gather the necessary documentation and submit a complete and accurate application.

Senegal Tourist visa requirements

Before scheduling your visa appointment for a visitor visa to Senegal, make sure you have all of the following documents ready and organised:

  • Valid passport: Your passport must be valid for at least six months beyond your intended stay in Senegal.
  • Two (2) copies of the biographical page of the passport: Clear, legible copies of the biographical page of the passport (the page containing the photo, name, date of birth, passport number and expiry date). Ensure the copy is in colour and shows both open pages.
  • Two (2) passport photos: two identical, recent (taken within one month) standard-size colour passport photos, typically measuring 35 mm x 45 mm. They must have a white background, a neutral expression and be of high quality and resolution.
  • Proof of financial means: You must demonstrate that you have sufficient funds to cover your expenses during your stay. This can include three months’ bank statements or other financial documents. If someone else is funding your travel, you can submit a notarised letter of financial support.
  • Proof of employment: An official document, usually a letter signed by your employer, that verifies your job, salary and length of service. This can help demonstrate your financial stability and ties to South Africa, as well as your intention to return after your visit.
  • Travel itinerary: You will need a detailed itinerary, including flight and accommodation details. If you are visiting friends or family, ask them to write you an invitation letter including their full name, address, status in Senegal and the reason for your visit.
  • Vaccination card: A yellow fever vaccination card (International Certificate of Vaccination or Prophylaxis – ICVP) is required for Senegal visa applications.
  • Cover letter: A concise, formal one-page document addressed to the embassy and outlining the purpose of travel, itinerary, financial means and ties to the home country, in order to demonstrate the intention to return.
  • Application fees and forms: Complete the Visa Application and pay the non-refundable application fee.
