Apostille Pricing in South Africa

In South Africa, two main authorities handle the legalisation of documents for use abroad through apostilles:

High Court: This is responsible for apostilling documents issued by local authorities within South Africa, such as birth certificates or marriage certificates.

Department of International Relations and Cooperation (DIRCO): DIRCO handles apostilles for documents issued by the national government or educational institutions in South Africa.

The apostille process verifies the authenticity of your document, making it recognized in countries that are part of the Hague Apostille Convention. But how much does it cost, and how long does it take?

This table provides a general overview of apostille pricing and processing times. Keep in mind that specific fees may vary depending on your location and the type of document
